darknezx 0 Share Posted April 21, 2007 I went to the derm today, and he prescribed Dalacin for me to apply. However I've a question for you guys, because I kind of doubt the advice (I probably shouldn't) he gave me. He said to leave the Dalacin lotion on my face even if I sweat profusely, to just let the sweat evaporate and dry, instead of rinsing my face with cool water to get rid of the sweat.Isn't it always a bad idea to let sweat dry, and shouldn't the lotion be absorbed already? Stephen* 8 Share Posted April 21, 2007 Hes technically correct, you should let the sweat dry and not wash your face with water.mainly because, even though the dalacin has absorbed, it will still be in your pores, and when you sweat some dalacin will come out. Therefore if you wash your face, you will wash all of the dalacin off, leaving nothing on your face.Obviously in a hygenic point of view, if your like really sweaty and smell, then you will need to wash lol, or you could wash anyway and apply the dalacin on your skin again.whatever works for you
