sephora28 1 Share Posted April 19, 2007 I am scared to use it as I had a HORRIBLE experience with the regular kit.
calla lily 2 Share Posted April 19, 2007 Then why did you order it?

cool as kim deal 47 Share Posted April 19, 2007 If I'm not mistaken, the gentle/sensitive versions of Proactiv use salicylic acid instead of benzoyl peroxide, so it's completely different (not necessarily better or worse though). Who knows?
-lxl- 0 Share Posted April 19, 2007 if they just replace benzoyl for salicylic acid, thats a ripoff...i dont think SA is any more gentler than BP
JR86 0 Share Posted April 20, 2007 but it may be better because you had such a bad reaction to the BP.
james77 0 Share Posted April 20, 2007 every post ive ever seen you make has to do with how depressed proactiv makes you

10YrsNCountin 0 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Maybe you did have a problem with the BP. For me its the other way around... SA is hell on the skin, whereas BP has some positive effect (although minor).Also.. I took proactiv for many months and never got depressed. I guess the depression is based around the big hope for a high profile solution.. but it didn't work.Proactiv was good to me for about 6 months and then did nothing & wasn't worth the cash (after the first 6 months ).
