A recipe for red marks from recipezaar

Hey there peeps i just found this recipe for red marks left from acne at recipezaar.com. The autor is x0xMandYx0x now i dunno if thats the MandyAnn on this forum...?

5 teaspoons baking soda

9 teaspoons water

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon egg whites

1 teaspoon lemon juice

First, make a paste with the baking soda and 1 tsp of the water.

Apply it to your face, massaging gently, then wash off immediately.

Then make a mixture of the apple cider vinegar and 8 tsp of water.

Apply it to your face with a cottonball.

Wash off after 10 minutes.

Finally you make a mask using the egg white and lemon juice.

Smooth it over your face avoiding the eye area and wash off after 10 minutes.

Do this once a day or every second day to make your face smooth and free of red marks!

Ill probably do this, its just i dont have the ACV, ill skip that part for now. My skin is just so bumpy and dull. The bumps arent painful or sore or anything, their quite hard and dry. Gosh, maybe its the BP in my topical doing this to me.

Then skip the baking soda part too bc baking soda is so extremely bad for your skin. on a pH scale isa high alkaline and alkaline products destroy your skin making your skin so much more susceptible for acne and your sebaceous glands will be working over time, which means more oil.

So don't use bakign soda unless you use ACV immediately afterwards to balance the pH level of your skin, which should be acidic not alkaline.

i tried this recipe yesterday, weird... coz after applying the baking soda... my skin stung so badly for a while until i put some aloe vera on it to sooth it. wow, i dont think im gonna be putting baking soda on my face again. the acv was pretty good, although, i didnt dilute it in water, i put it straight on my face. it stung only very slightly. after about 20 mins with the ACV on, i washed it off and prepared an egg white/lemon mask. i used up the whole egg white, its not as if im gonna just use like one tablespoon or something then chuck the rest out. so anyway, i had heaps, enough for 2 full-face applications.

i left the first application on for about 20-30 minutes, let it dry, and washed it off. then i applied what was left of the mask and it was probably left on my face for about 2 hours until i went to bed lol. then i did my normal regimen with my clearogen etc etc. today my face looks a little better from yesterday, my skin is more smooth and u can even see that my red marks have lightened just that little bit.

YAY, today i received my products for fading red marks/pigmentation! it aint ur ordinary AHA or aything like that. the de-pigmenting essence has tranexamic acid which dissolves the pigment in ur skin (the red marks of course), evens ur skin tone etc. the aqua fortis serum has hyaluronic acid which is sooooo hydrating at a cellular level. it helps to repair skin and aid in the healing process since it hydrates and nourishes cells.

i also bought a hydrating toner which is alcohol-fre and again has hyaluronic acid, as well as botanicals to soothe skin and eliminate oil-overproduction.

can't wait to try these products!
