Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil

Recommended Posts

I've heard rave reviews about the Mineral Veil powder, but I also read that cornstarch is not good for acne prone skin. Has anyone used this and if so, what were your results? I have combination skin (T-zone super oily and the rest dry) but I am also using Retin-A and Benzaclin so obviously I'm scared to use any powder at this point.... any feedback would be most appreciated!!! :D

Ohh great.. well, the last thing I need is more problems. I'm not sure what to do. Do you guys have any suggestions with any other powders that control shine but won't cause breakouts? I'm willing to buy a pricey powder if it actually works... but if there is one that doesn't cost a fortune I'd try that first.

There are different mineral brands that has finishing powders , most of them are online though..

But trust me , nothing will control oil no matter what , you will be needing to blot at least maybe once or so a day.

I like laura gellers invisible oil blotting powder - comes in a compact and you apply with a fan brush.

Ingredients - talc, calcium carbonate, tricaprylin, tocopherol, methylparaben, propyparaben, imidazolidinyl Urea, ascorbyl palmitate.

It doesn't disturb your other make up and control oil pretty well. I get shiny a bit only in my nose forehead. I will say this works very well for my but i'm definatly not super oily at all.
