I bought a jar of Aztec Secret "Indian Healing Clay" from Wholefoods for about $8. It is a large jar with greenish powder, you mix about 2 tablespoons with water (or apple cider vinegar) and apply it as a face mask. I liked it because it said it was Sun dried, fragrance free, no animal testing or products - all of which I'm a sucker for, and don't hurt my sensitive skin. I left it on for about 15 minutes, just to see what would happen.

I wouldn't normally come here to rave about a product, but this one was amazing. I had about 3 whiteheads - one in forehead, nose, and chin - that were completely sucked out by this stuff and healed quickly afterwards. It also greatly reduced the redness from my face.

Any ideas why this might be so powerful? I read somewhere that Calcium Bentonite has a very high PH. Is it possible that after using so much product on my skin over the years I have messed up the PH balance of my skin?

Frankly, I don't even understand how the alkaline/acid thing really works for your skin. But I do think this facial might have helped undo some of the damage I wreaked from too much BP over the years.

Any thoughts or comments would be very welcome.
