You can spot treat with mandelic. When my skin gets really dry and I mean really dry, I cut down on putting mandelic all over my face and spot treat for a couple of days. It still peels heavily at times where I spot treat and my redmarks have been fading!! Well, I have one really dark stubborn one that will not FADE!!!!!! My skin tone is a lot more even since I have been using mandelic.

I use mandelic with my BP-I think that is included in the proactiv kit. I am not really familiar with proactiv because I used it some time ago but does it have a glycolic toner? You can always replace mandelic with that. Or use them all. If its too drying cut down use of mandelic and work your way up or just spot treat.
