I have indented scars around my cheek and mouth areas. I also a few new redmarks that are very noticeable. I just saw all this when I looked into the bathroom mirror with the sun showing it all yesterday. Now I can't be in a photo without a friend photoshopping it for me. I wear makeup but it won't hide the scars... I'm trying not to let it affect me but... I just want to feel attractive. I've attempted to move on and not let my face affect my life yet every now and then it does. Meh people have probably said this a million times before but I just can't help but say how bad I feel to people. Done.

same, it's a pain having the marks and scars left over when you'd be otherwise clear.. like a constant reminder of what you've had to deal with. but keep looking on the positive side, the red marks will fade in time and there are lots of ways to try and speed up the healing process. there are also many ways you can improve scarring- not all of them being as costly as seeing a specialist or such, but over in the scar section there are a couple of things, 'homemade remedies' that might be worth a try. keep your chin up, i'm sure it's not as noticeable to others as you might think.. people really don't care about a few red marks or scars :comfort:

So I guess I'll have to keep wearing makeup until my skin's ready for scar treatments. I'm so depressed about this. :(

Yeah I just sit staring in the mirror looking at how perfect my skin could be if it wasnt for the scars.. all the tiny bits of glowing perfect skin inbetween all the scars which seem to cover my forehead and big open pores on my nose! Its only really looking into a mirror with daylight shining on a certain angle that it mostly shows.. and when my skin is dry like after just having a bath (while being on roaccutane) .. otherwise it looks ok.. ive found it doesnt usually show in pictures at all when ive got my make-up on, only very rarely! noones said anything! even when im paranoid about it and mention it to friends cause i think im standing under bad lighting.. they are like 'i didnt even notice'

Mm-hmmm. I thank god for certain lights that give me the illusion that it's not that bad, then I catch myself reflected in the car window and Dammit Man!

I had some professional photos done recently and I could see my many small scars very clearly in some.

Utterly depressing yes, but for me, it could always be worse.
