LanLan 0 Share Posted February 9, 2007 i've been using Retin-A-Micro for a week now. The idea of getting a facial just came up and I was wondering if facials are safe for my skin right now. I haven't been to a facialist for a long time, and my facial skin is full of black heads. I know people would suggest products to get rid of black heads. But my question is, has any Retin-A users gone to get a facial? is extraction safe for Retin-A users? I read somewhere on this site that facials might make retin-a users' skin thin? and that it would ruin it? i'm not sure if theres any peel involved, or just plain facials that the person is talkin about. But I just plan to have my black heads extracted (currently i have no active pimples) and get my skin cleaned. so any input?
LionQueen 40 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Retin A makes your skin very fragile. I'd be extremely nervous about getting extractions while using it, but if you have an aesthetician you trust, I suggest discussing this with her.
klvoe 1 Share Posted February 27, 2007 I would be wary - if you get extractions, it will leave red marks
