Questions about acne

Recommended Posts

Hi

Im 14 years old and have been affected by acne for about 2 years now

the first year was nothing serious but i often picked at my face. The last

year it has been moderate. I have been lurking around the forum for a

while now, and finally decided to join. I have a few questions

Does lifting weights affect acne?

How much of Acne is stress-related?

What are some of the things that have worked for you ?

I've heard of people aplying toothpaste overnite does that help?

*sorry if these ?'s sound basic, but i relle dont know much about this stuff.

Thank you

lifting weights actually helps your skin. But watch you diet. Acne can be caused by stress but only with people with anziety issues. Right now I just wash my face twice a day with water and it is working wonderfully. Toothpaste is realy bad for your skin b/c it irritates it so much.

Firstly, if you're 14, you really shouldn't be lifting weights. But, to answer your question, lifting weights will not trigger acne. However, the sweat caused by lifting will more than likely have an effect. Your best bet is to start off with some light weights and immediately take a cold shower after lifting to clear your pores. Good luck.

-Don't worry about lifting weights dude. It won't effect negatively and won't effect positively either to tell you the truth. Well not as far as science has shown thus far.

You are plenty old enough to start lifting weights.

- I don't think stress affects acne.

- Dan's regimen minus the cleanser, and using jojoba oil as the moisturizer.

- Toothpaste should be avoided. If you want a spot treatment then there are superior ones.

Sure it doesn't. I'd say it's good for you (it improves your blood circulation which is good for your skin.)
