Had appointment today and I have some questions.

The medicing I was prescribed today is Tazorac .1% cream, 100 mg minocycline, and Akne-mycin 2% ointment. I take 1 pill of minocycline in the morning and apply Akne-mycin. At night I use Tazorac and Akne-mycin which I found odd because I'm applying two types of medicine on my face. Is this a good or a bad thing? I used to use Retin-a and Brevoxyl along with the minocycline but my doctor prescribed different ones this time.. With the Tazorac, all I got was the tube, and it did not give me directions on how to apply this. Can someone give me directions?
