Me+Makeup=Breakouts

Recommended Posts

Hi! I was hoping someone here could give me some advice for makeup!

I have a light skin tone and very sensitive skin. Alot of the makeup I've been using has made me breakout.....

I hate bottled foundations. I cant stand that stuff! I usually use the kind of foundation that comes in a little compact. Its not powder but its not liquid foundation. I'm sure you know what I'm taking about.

But yeah, I need a foundation that will keep me from breaking out! My skin is almost totally clear thanks to Dans regimen!

So whats a good brand of foundation and powder, etc!

Hope you can help!

ashes: Since you are having breakouts using liquid foundations, you might try a mineral makeup such as Jane Iredale, Aromaleigh, Youngblood, etc. In many cases people who cannot tolerate liquid foundations can tolerate mineral makeups.

Hope that helps. smile.gif

I second OursFan's answer. You might wanna try mineral make up. I recommend Jane Iredale, Aromaleigh and Bare essential. However, you said that your skin are clear.... :-k why don't you try to do it this way...

After you put BP and moisturizer on.....look at you face.....are there many acne scars? or just very few red marks left on your face?

If you have minimal scars, I suggest you use just little bit of concealer to cover them then use powder foundation or loose powder over your concealer. Then you just put on blush, eye shadow and so on....

Recommend: Laura Mercier for good powder foundation.

I have alot of red marks from previous pimples. ALOT.

I will try bare minerals by bare essentuals. I just have a hard time deciding what color to get....

Thanks again for the advice!

ashes,

I forgot to tell you 2 things.

when you apply your powder or foundation....don't let your finger tough the bottle of foundation because you might accidently spoil your foundation. Just use q-tip to take little bit out and apply on your face.

Please clean your brush and puff at least every other week.
