bp...goood or baddd?

Recommended Posts

Before going on dans regimen I used murad products that contained no bp only salcylic acid. AFter a week with murad everything started out well until the second week where supposedely I was in the purging state which was suppose to be normal. I dealt with it for about 3 weeks and my skin was still irritated and red and the acne jes didnt seem to disappear. I went to the murad spa and got an acne facial. The esthetician I spoke with told me that bp is bad for ur skin because it dries it out and irritates it causing more breakouts. I was like wha... ? she told me that bp was bad for the skin, is she right? well so far with dans regime everything is going great. Has anyone been told that bp is bad for the skin because it can dry it out and irritate the skin causing more acne breakouts?

BP is bad for the skin if you apply huge quantities of 10% or so to your face- Dan's uses 2.5% and you begin slowly to help your face adjust. I've always gotten great results from the BP personally. :)

BP = good for acne, but bad for redmarks:S

What's good for acne and redmarks? I've been on DKR for 4 months now and am clear, but have left over red marks.

i been mixing jojoba and 100% pure aloe vera, between cleasning and bp and this is doing pretty good for my redmarks. tho it kinda dries me out. you might want to check out this http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php?showforum=34
