Mineral Makeup/Sheer Cover etc

Recommended Posts

Hey all, just a quick question - I have seen a few of these products advertised and was wondering if anyone has tried these or any Jane Iredale makeup.

I am on roaccutane at the moment and was wondering if because they are powder based, they would be extra drying.

I would love to hear anyone else's experience or tips. Thanks!

Yes, I have tried Jane Iredale makeup.

The Good: didn't make me break out

The Bad: Made me a little oily throughout the day.

Hi and thank you for replying.

At the moment I am using a Loreal Foundation which I really like because of the colour.

I was wondering - how did you find the change to using the powder? Did you feel as though you were getting good coverage? I have been using liquid foundations for a while now and am wondering if you can get the same kind of results.

Thanks!

Hi,

I had used Loreal Foundation in the past and switched to mineral makeup. I have been wearing Mineral Makeup for 2 yrs now and at times I "test out" the non-mineral makeup, it feels different on my skin... like a mask on my face.

Coverage, different brands has different coverage, some light and some has medium. I have not tried Sheer Cover or JI's stuff, so I can't tell you how the coverage is and it's staying power, since each of us has different skin.

Here are some brands that I like and recommend smile.gif

Both I am able to wear without breaking out - I found them about 6 mths ago and both has great coverage and staying power on me.

I actually liked the coverage. I wouldn't call it a heavy coverage, but a medium coverage. Not sure if you will be happy with the results, but if you don't have oily skin, then I think it's worth a try. smile.gif
