Healing after Tane

Recommended Posts

Guest

After you come off accutane, how noticeable is the increased rate of healing. I'm happy with the way my skin has been healing especially considering tane is supposed to slow down your skin's ability to heal, but I still have red marks and what appear to be small indents on my forehead. I read somewhere that most of the redmarks and things disappear 2 months after the treatment is finished, not any longer. I'm not as worried about the indents, they are soft and getting softer everyday, if I need treatment for scarring I will seek it after the 6 month wait period.

The red marks can take WAY more than 2 months to leave. lol I know you don't wanna hear that, no one does. Most people here say it took at LEAST 6 months. For me.. its almost been 6 months and many of the marks have still not faded.

I don't know if you're talking about after the course or during the course. What I'm saying is that I heard most people experience full clearing of red marks during 2 months POST TANE. I could still see marks taking 6 months to fade after tane though, especially after severe acne.

my skin generally heals back to normal, however my skin has been alil strange at times. when cuttin my hair, i got this red mark on my forehead from the trimmer, now this is normal because even before acne i'd get a little irritation cut from the trimmer on my forehead sometimes, but this time the red mark lasted a few weeks and didn't go away as quick as it has done in the past. but that was just aminor thing, my skin is generally good though post tane.
