Help with CSR Regime!

Hey everyone!

This is my first post and I have a question regarding the CSR regime.

Well, I am at the end of my 5th week and I did see some progress during the first 2-3 weeks.

All of a sudden I'm breaking out around my jawline and cheeks. :wall::cry:

Is this considered the initial breakout even though its been 5 weeks?

I have been adding FOTE's aloe vera gel into the regime so I'm not sure if it's

because of the aloe vera or if this is how Dan's regime works.

Anyone else have similar problems? Some practical advice and insight would be greatly appreciated! :)

To answer your question, many people experience breakouts even 2 months into the regimen. I, myself, just broke out today and I'm 4 weeks into it. Don't give up; after 3 months of the CSR, you should be clear (well, with the possible exception of red marks).

It is very important not to add anything to the regimen until you are clear; at that point, you can add products one at a time. But, for now, I think you should stop using the Aloe...Are you using it as a moisturizer or using something completely different to moisturize too?

everyone gets clear at their own pace. I was breaking out 4 months into it, not even 4 weeks. But, over these months, although you will probably still see breakouts, there should be less and they should be more mild than the ones that followed it. You just have to give it time, patience, and you cant worry about it.

i personally broke out for upto two months before bp controlled it !

its a bit of a rough journey but basically your skin has a lot of crap stil inside that wil need to come out before it stays clear.

but when its done you wil be grateful :D

I was breaking out consistently until week 8. I'm at the end of week 9 and had a couple zits last week but it's been about 5 days since I had a zit, so as long as it continues to get better, I'm pleased.

jk087,

Everyone else has given some good advice. It can be rough in the beginning stages so do hang in there!

Let's review your products and procedure though just to be safe.

What are you using: Which cleanser, bp, and moisturizer? And HOW are you using them?

to answer routhman's question: yes, I use it as a mosturizer

as for Brandy, my regime consists of:

Dan's BP and cleanser

FOTE's aloe vera

Biore's shine control mosturizer which I highly recommend for those with oily skin but it is a bit pricey for such a small product

Morning

Wash my face with CSR cleanser

After 5 minutes I apply Biore mosturizer

Night

Wash my face with CSR cleanser

After 10 minutes, I apply BP all over

After 10 minutes I apply Aloe Vera all over

Am I doing anything wrong?? And I don't apply BP in the morning because it will really overdry my skin but I do wash my face three times a day because of all the oil which I can't stand

I have another question too. Whenever I try to eat or if I'm laughing (any movement of the mouth) the area under my nose and above my upper lip turns red all the time. Could anyone explain why??

id stop washing 3times a day and simply pat away the oil in the day.

other than that it looks fine man.

just remember that overly washing = irritation

and irritation = acne
