teaturtle 0 Share Posted October 14, 2006 Is there any difference between the two? Most of the pharmacies Ive went to have said they only have the generic stuff. My derm didnt say anything about which I should get, so I assume it's okay no matter which one i get?
Beauty Bot 0 Share Posted October 14, 2006 they are both fine! one should technically be cheaper than the other..... which is good if you are paying out of pocket. If you are covered, doesn't matter, they are totally interchangable.
JR86 0 Share Posted October 14, 2006 they are exactly the same, you will have the same results and the same side effects no matter what brand you take.
allblkaudi 0 Share Posted October 14, 2006 i dont think they are exactly the same, but they both have isotretinoin in them...some doctors prefer the regular accutane for the same reason opium feinds prefer name brand percocets, or vik's, which is that the stuff the drug is mixed with is different (in the opium feind example, generic percocets are very hard to sniff)But i doubt it matters if the derm didnt tell you
