a529612 0 Share Posted October 14, 2006 This BP dryness seems to spread. I'm not using BP on my neck but now it feels dry and rough. What's the best way to get rid of the coarse texture that BP gives to the skin?
Guest Locked In Grace Share Posted October 14, 2006 The best way is to cease the use of it altogether. Replace it with products containing BHA'S (Glycolic Acid etc), AHA'S (Salicylic Acid etc) and Vitamin A lotion (aka Retinols, Retiniods, Tretinoins etc..). These not only fight acne but also improve tone, hydrate, reduce scarring (many forms of), build Collagen & Elastin. And the list goes on. Very holistic approach.Alongside a good quality, broad spectrum SPF lotion, and a basic moisturising lotion for the PM, this is a regimen you can use throughout your entire life. Takara 0 Share Posted October 17, 2006 You could also try using this product which has jojoba oil built into the BP to hydrate the skin:http://www.oicu2.com/benzoylperoxide10/
Melodie 0 Share Posted October 17, 2006 I haven't used BP for almost a month and my face looks much healthier. Try Moojamba's soaking method add some epsom salt or sea salt, and some facial steaming you'll never want to use topicals again!
