Today something occured to me and i just wanted to see if i was correct on this. Benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria by releasing oxygen in to your skin and bacteria cannot survive in the presence of oxygen. This being said, i have noticed a lot of moisturizers contain anti-oxidants. if you are using a product that is releasing oxygen and then a product on top of it that discourages oxygen in the skin, wouldnt this render the effects of benzoyl peroxide useless and therefore contribute to bacteria growth? im just not really clear on this.
