You have to be careful not to pick at ALL on something like RAM... or else you will be left with a red mark for quite some time... RAM makes your skin half as thick (only 4 layers where is usually 8), so it is much more sensitive

i think i may have just given myself a scar today. :( Hopefully it isn't permanent. I was trying to squeeze some blackheads out of my nose (stupid, i know) and now there's a mark there. I've been on retin A for about 7 months and i've been on accutane for 1.5 months so my skin i guess is pretty thin.

I haven't been picking blemishes, but my skin is cracked in some areas and I've been picking at that. Like it gets really hard and stiff and then cracks/flakes off in large chunks. It's left some red sores, do you think they'll scar too?

Actually, retinoids make your skin shed faster, so your scars will fade much quicker than usual...at least, mine do on differin. when i get a red mark, very rarely does it last more than a week.
