This may be a myth, but has anyone ever tried applying toothpaste to forming pimples?? Just wanted to know if I should if give it a try or if it simply makes things worse.

Who knows what's in that shit; it'll probably do more harm than good.

Most likely it contains irritants which may cause the skin to breakout.

Its called toothpaste for a reason. Not acne paste. Fuck all those myths. Just use a spot treatment like Neutrogena On The Spot Benzoyl Peroxide.

Toothpaste is supposed to dry out the pimple. But when I put it on my face I make things worse cos it dries overnight and then in the morning I have to scrub quite hard to get it off my skin and it makes the spot sore red and inflamed. i wouldn't recommend it.

i put thooth paste on my face and fell asleep

woke up and my face was a worrying red colour

over the next couple days it was clear that i had chemically burned my skin......took a 5 days to clear. Might be an idea for a home chemical peel
