skinilove 0 Share Posted October 21, 2003 I have had mild acne since I was 12 or 13, but I'd say it became progressively worse, and became "moderate" within the past year, maybe 18 months (I'm going on 16.5). I'd used a mild anti-bacterial wash and BenzaClin for a lot of the time. I guess it contained the acne, as if I let it go it'd start getting worse. But I wasn't getting anywhere with that. I modified that to go with the regimen, which wasn't much of a change. Still didn't change anything. I started ProActiv and I must say it did help. Been doing it for 6-8 weeks. It's really kept the acne down, but I'm still not getting anywhere. I still have scattered outbreaks, and in new areas, no less. It hasn't done anything to help my skin like it was supposed to. I feel like I'm not moving forwards with ProActiv anymore, but I fear if I stop, I'll definitely lose it. Summary: Tried BenzaClin and regimen in early adolescence. Done ProActiv for 6-8 weeks, feel like there's no progress, what should I do?
