lally191 0 Share Posted October 20, 2003 Hey have u guys heard of roaccutane? its completely cleared my skin which was depressingly bad. I was made aware of all the side effects but only really experienced one which was dry lips. However, the press have shown so much negative coverage, why is this?? The treatment is hugely expensive so most wait to get it supplied free on the NHS, is the government losing money on what seems to work so well for so many?? Please Help! thanks Rick
Piso 0 Share Posted October 21, 2003 I have never heard of Roaccutane. What is it?
Unguarded 0 Share Posted October 22, 2003 I think lally191 is just combining the drug company name with the drug's brand name. Accutane is the drug and the company which manufactures it is Roche. Isotretinoin is the generic name.
eve 0 Share Posted October 22, 2003 Accutane, roaccutane and roaccutan are all the same thing. The drug is just sold under slightly different names in different countries (accutane in US, roaccutane in UK etc..)
Piso 0 Share Posted October 23, 2003 Sarcasm... Yes it's Roche-Accutane
