Will the light always be of the same efffective or will your body become immue to it over time. Im just wondering since the light seems like a good investment.

It's not your body that becomes immune, it's the bacteria.

I'm not aware of any studies on it. It seems to me unlikely that the bacteria could become immune to the light; they're being attacked at a very fundamental level.

But you never know, bacteria are highly 'creative', or rather evolution is. They can evolve some very strong defenses. They would need to evolve some protection to the light, or deal with oxidation effects of the light in some way, or reduce or change the porphyrins.

Some kinds of bacteria have been found living in nuclear reactors thriving in incredible radiation, so it's not impossible.

Still, the blue light kills the bacteria so thoroughly, that you would think it would be difficult for them to do so; it's mainly when they're not all being fully killed that resistance develops.
