Johnnery 0 Share Posted October 19, 2003 I called Dr. Pickart the other day to ask him some questions about his products and we began talking about different procedures that are on the market right now for treating acne scars. He mentioned that some dermatologists have begun using a treatment where they inject a strong AHA into the base of the scar to help break it up and then use Copper Peptides to rebuild the skin. This was news to me as I have never heard that injecting glycolic acid into the skin was a viable procedure for scarring. I was wondering if anyone here has had it done, and if so, what were the results.
imbue 0 Share Posted October 19, 2003 I think TCA is used because it is stronger and neuralizes itself.
