GuitarMan 0 Share Posted October 17, 2003 I just found out (disappointingly) that Accutane is not covered in my insurance paln. I was planning on starting Accutane, and got my blood work done today, and when I went to pick up the perscription for 30 pills at 40mg each, the pharmacist told me that it would not be covered under my current plan, and I would have to shell out $350.00 for a one month supply. Does anybody know a good helath insurance plan that covers Accutane? I will switch providers if I know I'll be saving money. Thanks.
plateaukid 1 Share Posted October 18, 2003 $350?????!!!!! My insurance fortunately covered it and it cost me $15, because that is the max you pay for medication if it is an expensive one. I can't recommend them to you, though, because I don't think they are in Florida.
