what to expect after first month of accutane?

Recommended Posts

ive been on accutane for a month.... i take 10mg pills.. 3 times a day

my lips are very chapped and my face is some what chapped.... i think ive gotten some results but im not sure if its just my mind telling me that

i had mild to moderate acne, mostly my upper cheek area, and scaring in the same areas as well and a little bit of acne around my chin, nothing to serious just pimples here and there

what should i expect from the first month though? cuz it seems like pimples go away but then new ones are still coming... *my initial breakout was pretty bad too*

what you have/had sounds exactly right for the first month..... pretty much just dry lips/face and new active acne coming up, plus the IB.

plus, on 30mg a day you might not see too much of a drastic change, if any, throughout your accutane course.

yup!

and yes! it should be around 1mg per kg.... it really depends on the dosing they decide on, you are kind of at the derms mercy to do it right for you!
