a529612 0 Share Posted September 22, 2006 I'm getting sunburn like peeling from TCA. What's the best way to get rid of the peeling so I can look presentable during the day? It's not like flaking that you can just rub off in the shower. Thanks!

If you go to a dermatologist and get a tca peel, he/she will give neorporn (or some similar product) and tell you to use on your face all the time until you stop peeling -a week? Never pull the scars -because it may cause pigmentation problems. I've had two fullface TCA peels and followed Dr's advice. Leslie
vexed 0 Share Posted September 23, 2006 I have never had a tca peel. But, I have one word of caution about neosporin. I got a weird fungal infection from using it too much. It kills bad bacteria, preventing bacterial infection, but it also kills good bacteria that keep other things like fungi in check. Neosporin is great, I think it helps things heal well, but if your skin starts looking or feeling strange/different, stop using it and see your derm. Me, I just kept piling it on cause I didn't know what it was, and thought the neosorin would help it when really it was making it worse and worse.
