I've currently been on Benzoyl Peroxide Wash (5%) and Tazorac Gel (0.1%) and it has been keeping my face clear. I've recently decided to quit using my prescriptions to see how my face does. For my over the counter medicine I bought a 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Wash and a 10% BP creme to use. Do you think this over the counter method will hold up as good as what I was using for Rx since it's higher percentages?

i suggest instead of that 10% wash, just get cetaphil.

a facewash is meant to clean your face, not medicate it, most of that bp is going straight down the drain anyways.

use cetaphil, it will keep your skin looking nice, and it won't irrittate, it gets the job done with cleaning.

oh yes and dan recomends a 2.5% bp since research shows it works just as well as a 10%
