Hey, well i was prescribed to use Clindasol in the morning and Differin at night, with this im taking minocycline antibiotic. I've been using it for about a week now, I've noticed I am breaking out a lot more than usual and got rather concerned. My derm told me it was the Clindasol, usually it gives you a purging period and draws all the acne you would have gotten out. What are you using with the Clindasol and is it working the same for you?

I havent used Clindasol but I used Clindagel(Im guessing its similar) for several years and I had great results. No immediate results but after a couple months it really seemed to help keep my skin stay clear. My dermatologist explained that it didnt necessarily treat acne but it helped to unplug pores and prevent new acne. That during the day, in combination with Tazorac at night and Dynacin(Minocycline)2 times a day, kept my skin very clear for several years. (After topical treatments and oral antibiotics for 2 years, but doctor took me off the antibiotics completely because I was having such great results. My skin stayed very clear for 6 years, until I got pregnant with my daughter.)
