Prior to finding this thread, I have recently switched up my regimen from what is listed in my signature.

It's kind of like this.. Same concept, different products.

I've been using Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser (SA and Alpha-Hydroxy-whatevers), Oxy Chill-something (Label fell off.. But it's BP-ified), and then I moisturize with Jojoba Oil. I seriously CRINGE at the thought of not moisturizing. That's probably why some of you are getting oily. If your skin senses that it's dry, it'll only boost sebum-production. Your skin needs to stay balanced, and with using both SA and BP, that's a disaster waiting to happen for most -- Not saying that this goes for EVERYONE.. I mean, if it's working, it's working, you know? I'm just applying my knowledge.

Jojoba oil has been my best addition to any of my skincare regimens.

Anyone else use Jojoba oil, too?

I'm curious to your results.

after reading this thread i thought about using the bp cleanser but i kept remembering the last time i used a bp cleanser and had to deal with bleached eyebrows and bleached hair around the edges-it was awful. i then read that tea tree oil was just as effective as bp so i decided to try a tea tree oil cleanser instead-in just a week it is working wonders on my skin. this may be an option for anyone who is allergic to bp or just dont want to deal with the bleaching effect of bp. one thing this thread has made me realize is that cleansers can clear acne. a lot of people such as paula begoun do not recommend using a cleanser for acne because they say that the product is not on your skin long enough to work- not true! all the bumps i had on my face are gone after only a week and my face is so radiant and smooth.

I've started using the treatment and after 4 days I notice a pretty big difference. I had been using other treatments on and off for the last few months but nothing ive stuck with. Since i started using this i've noticed some pretty bad acne on the left side of my face clearing up considerably. Before it was all red and inflammed and seemed to never be getting better, now it is quickly receding. I have gotten a couple new pimples in the last few days, but the seemed to be not bad pimples, and they rubbed off easily and are already getting better.

Bottom line, after 4 days of this treatment my face looks the best it has all summer. Thank you OP, even if this is 4 years later lol

I'm going to go ahead and buy those products today and see how this regimen goes for me. However I will add a moisturizer to help with the irritation that will probably come from using the strong BP cleanser.

I'll report back.

I started doing this a few weeks ago- it helped a little- than I stopped and broke out, so I've been doing it again for the last few days and it's keeping me pretty clear. I'm doing it along with toner and BP gel and purpose moisturizer. Not sure how it will work in the long term but right now my face feels great on it, not too dry or anything. I noticed that a lot of people were complaining about getting acne in new places after doing this regimen- like their cheeks. What I've been doing is only applying the BP wash and gel to my problem areas, so for example, I wash everywhere except my nose and cheeks, because these areas tend to stay clear without the help of BP. I think that if you apply BP to a clear part of your skin, it will irritate it- hence the acne. Anyway, I'm hoping this will continue to work!

I'm noticing great results. I am still getting pimples as my skin purges what was pre-existently lying beneath, but I have noticed that no new bumps are forming under my skin. I keep an optimistic attitude and think, "Okay.. This morning takes me a few pimples closer to clarity," because I know I will be clear once my skin makes it through its cycle.

Unfortunately, I am having isssues with redmarks once again. This seems to go hand-in-hand with BP, in most cases.

Check the topic on Sudocrem.. I have slowly incorporated that back into my regimen at night sometimes. After I moisturize with the jojoba oil, I massage a small bit of Sudocrem into my skin. It's a UK product, and it's hard to get a hold of here in the U.S., but it helps heal existing blemishes without the reddening effect of BP.

I've also begun a course of B5.. That must also play a part in new-pimple-prevention. But this method of exfoliating, treating, and moisturizing is the way to go, hands down, in my opinion.

And to the person that suggested about the people who don't post anymore.. I think you're right. I think once people find something that works, they have no need to be on the Org anymore, and that's why we don't hear from them anymore. I kind of got the same way until things started getting bad again with the summer humidity and such.. Now I'm more active again. So, no offense, but I hope I won't be talking to you guys much longer. ;)

I purchased the products today along with the Clean & Clear Morning Burst moisturizer with SPF 15 to help with the likely irritation. I'll start tonight and let you all know how it goes. Wish me luck.

Alright so I did the first round today and my face is extremely red. I'm not sure if its the BP or if its that I'm using the Baby Brush to wash with the Black Head scrub. I'm not sure of I'm over exfoliating or what.

On the other hand, my skin is extremely smooth and looks great besides the horrible redness. I'm gonna keep at it to see how it goes and if anything I'll cut down on the BP a bit.

I am wondering about how the Baby Brush goes with this so if anyone knows if they can lfill me in, it would be great. :)

I think using the baby brush method for exfoliating with the C&C Scrub would be too irritating especially with the little beads in it. Maybe if you had like, a skin of steel...

k I am a 20 year old male. I find my forehead and nose are getting very oily throughout the day, and i've heard its because my skin is overly dry so it thinks it needs to produce more oil. So i'm wondering what would be the best Moisturizer for me to use in my situation? Thanks

Never heard of that system.. How has it been working? Great results? So-so? Same as this?

Also.. I cannot stress enough how much I love using Jojoba Oil as a moisturizer. I massage in a few drops while my face is still wet from washing, and I haven't had a trace of dryness ever since I started incorporating it into my regimen.

Jojoba supposedly mimics our skin's natural oil, giving it reason not to produce more.. So it helps with oily skin, as well. I buy jojoba conditioner, lotions, bodywash, shave cream.. The stuff's heaven-sent, in my opinion.

i just started this regimen but im using St Ives 2% SA for Blemishs and Blackheads along with the Clean and Clear 10% BP. I wash with both in the morning and at night. Then I put on Nuetragena Anti Acne .5% SA moisterizer.

I'm using St Ives 2% blemish wash and Neutrogena BP (3.5-7%) wash and after 3 days I can see a dramatic reduction. I'm using it morning and night, the first 15 minutes or so after use, my skin turns red, but after it tones down to normal. I have noticed no new stuff forming and the old stuff drying up. I like this regimen. I just think you have to experiment based on your acne type and sking type. I would definetly rinse one off before adding the other I got a bad chemical burn by acidentally combining the two a while back. Maybe the leave in stuff is too strong for your skin and you should try two washes instead?
