It's not entirely about scarring, but I didn't know where else to put it.

Anyway, while on my continuing trek to find a way to rid my scars, I'm noticing fine line and wrinkles around my eyes and forehead have developed. I'm 23 so I guess that's natural. I was just wondering whether there are any products which may help reduce them, or whether it's all a farce?

I do have a small tub of moisturising cream from [insert brand here] (containing 8% Glycolic acid & 2% Citric acid) recommended by my derm to help alleviate my scarring (how gullible was I  ), that I haven't touched for a good 6 months because I realised it wasn't working/wouldn't work. Is this safe to use for wrinkles? I heard glycolic acid, or AHA products in general, is great for fine lines and wrinkles, but given it has 'acid' in it, I'm quite hesitant to use it, especially around the delicate eye area.

Are topical creams/solutions simply a waste of time and money, or not? What do people recommend?

if noone can help here, or u wish to be on the safe side, why not email/write to the derm that prescribed it and ask his advice? Or another derm or forum focusing on anti aging.

p.s. i wouldnt put that stuff near your eyes tho to be honest!
