I would like to buy some emu oil. I've used jojoba in the past, I imagine it is pretty similar. Can you guys give me recommendations on where/what to buy? Thanks!

I ordered mine off ebay, it was good, but with postage it ended up costing almost $20, and it was sent all the way from Canada to Australia. (But your from the US so it won't be that much for you) I looked in some of the health stores, and they sell it too. If you can't find any there, order it from ebay. Here's the link:

Emu oil is heavier than jojoba oil ... you will probably need less of it to achieve the same results as jojoba oil.

I use it as a moisturiser. You only need a little bit though, like a few drops, that's enough to moisturise really dry skin, and it really helps reduce inflammation (I don't get cysts anymore..and if I feel one popping up, it goes down within a day) and it has helped me alot with red marks.

Its supposed to be non-comedogenic so shouldn't block pores. Regular moisturisers tend to contain alot of chemicals, some of which make also provoke acne. Emu oil is a natural, one ingredient, moisturiser thereby minimising the risk of adverse reactions. The only thing that is a bit gross though is that they extract from emus
