how did it go? how long did it take to see results after a treatment? how many treatments did you have? did it hurt? were you bruised- if yes, how long? are there any dangers with this procedure?

I'm interested in replies to this too. I thinking of doing either IPL or Vbeam. My local derm offers IPL. I don't know how far I would have to drive for Vbeam..

It went well, my marks did fade a rather significant amount, but not as much as I had hoped. I would probabaly need a whole other 10 treatments to be completely clear, maybe more, but I guess it just depends on the severity of your marks. I've had mine for years.

After the treatment it takes a few days to notice any fading. I remember reading that it took the entire month to see the final result of one treatment.

I had 3 treatments done.

I asked the nurse not to bruise me, but I was curious about the bruises so she did one on my forearm. It took a week to completely fade.

As far as I know there are no dangers.

EDIT: I had V-Beam, by the way.
