anyone try lactic acid or glycolic acid for nose blackheads??

anyone try lactic acid or glycolic acid for nose blackheads?? I have like fifty blackheads on my nose and was wondering what to do about them?? I also have really sensitive skin and rosacea..............

yes, glycolic, but it doesn't do much for blackheads

neither does bp

i've used neutrogena clear pore treatment (it's SA based) on my nose and it worked great!

SA will, IMO, do more for blackheads. Mandelic Acid gets great reports too, but i haven't tried it personally.

nope, as jooney said, AHA have not been proved to have much, if any effect on blackheads, try BHA based product (salicylic acid), or look around a blackhead forum, ppl have good resluts with various other products

Lactic and glycolic acid are both AHAs. They exfoliate the skin at the surface but do not penetrate deep enough into the pores to affect blackheads.

Salicylic acid, a BHA, is very effective for most people. Check out the Paula's Choice BHA product at www.cosmeticscop.com

Mandelic acid is an AHA but is also effective against blackheads. See the thread in this forum.
