Question for Maya

Recommended Posts

Hi Maya. In your opinion which gives better results -Isotrex or mandelic acid?

I already use isotrex but want to try mandelic acid (I know you've used both). I was hoping that the mandelic acid would

a. reduce my red marks (isotrex is not doing much)

b. control mild acne (isotrex is doing that)

c. improve texture and pore size (isotrex is helping a little)

Also,I find Isotrex a little drying and it makes my skin a little red. How does the mandelic acid compare?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.I would really appreciate any advice. Take care.

Well, Isotrex did not help me with red marks, in fact, I think it may have made them worse.

For red marks and mild acne, yes, the mandelic seems better.

I already have good texture and relatively small pores, so I can't make a comment, but if you have suffered irritation on isotrex, then I think you will find that mandelic is much gentler (but not less effective)

Go for it!
