leaving moisterizer/bp gel out in hot car all day

the moisterizer now is like 1/5th gone and my face broke out like crazy, just wondering if this is because i left it out in the 110 degree weather, also.. i am probably going to get new cetaphil but is the bp gel messed up too? :(

i'd call a pharmacy man, it's really tough to say (probably why no one has responded either).

Everything I've read about storage of BP products says to keep it away from heat and moisture, but doesn't really indicate what the consequences are. I'd probably play it safe and chuck the tube, though. I think it's likely that the BP was, if nothing else, made less effective by being out in the sun.

Yeah, I'd have to agree.

Yeah, two possibilities when drugs are exposed to temperatures outside their stable ranges... get less effective or get more effective. Or, in the case of aqueous stuff, it can just get inconsistent... Usually the different ingredients melt at different temperatures and then when they come back down to normal they aren't necessarily in the same structure or concentration. Chuck the tube, that's what I'd do.

When I first recieved my gel BP, it was kind of warm. Do you think the shipping of the BP in the heat would cause any "damage?"
