So I've been trolling this forum for the last few days and I am so inspired by a lot of the information I've found here.

Liver flushes, B vitamins, vegetarian diets, to "willing" your acne away. I have read so much awesome info here and I feel like all of it can really play a part in how our skin flares up.

Because of this forum, I have decided to go completely vegetarian and I am going to try for vegan eventually. After reading about the small pockets that form in our intestines and how meat becomes rancid and putrifies in there, I was so traumatized that I instantly decided to stop eating meat. Not to mention the horrible animal cruelty in most major meat factories.

Because of this forum, I went and bought more vitamins. I had already been taking some turmeric/bromelain to pre-emptively reduce the swelling/bruising I will endure from jaw surgery on August 21. I went and bought some high potentcy multi-vitamins, as well as 1000 mg Vitamin C tablets. I plan to increase my vitamin intake slowly, but I don't believe my acne to be severe enough to take nearly lethal levels of B5, though I can certainly respect and sympathize with those who do!

Because of this forum, I've changed my outlook on my acne. I read the post about changing one's mindset on one's acne and it really moved me. I thought how it could relate to all aspects of life, and how it seems those who survive potentially fatal diseases are those who REFUSE to die. I think if I somehow REFUSE to have acne and to dwell on it, and to think about how I can improve my body in other ways (vitamins, exercise, etc.) while concentrating on the positive improvement of my skin, I will eventually have skin I am happy with.

So thank you to all of you. You are all awesome people and I love browsing this forum every single day to constantly stretch my mind in directions it would have never gone otherwise.

My goal: To someday no longer need benzoyl peroxide to have healthy, glowing skin.

This was my goal 2 and it can be done! I could only cure my acne when I stopped running from it. Some people with cancer say they wont die because it means their cancer dies, this would be the easy way out! Inspiration from within!
