Could be an airbrushed photo. (And of course he has lots of money for top-of-the-line treatments)

I'm sorry, but can you judge by looking at those pictures. They're not very clear, the ones that are somewhat clear are clearly retouched. But in any case, good for him if he's scars have improved.

I have f'ing ugly scars and have not ever been able to truly capture them in picture. I wish my skin would look as good as it does on pictures.

Even if he improved his scars with somethings That picture looks airbrushed and probably is since it's a posed headshot. I hate to say it but I don't think you can go from looking like what he used to look like and what he looks like in that picture.

Yeah, either airbrushed or made up.....he varies from film to film. His scars are obvious in some films, and not obvious in others....

Well, all I can say is that my scars are definitely worse than his then. It's disheartening to know because mine are so deep they even show up on pictures.

eek - not silicon - subcision and some of the longer lasting fillers have made the most difference to mine - and lots of microneedling and microderm - big tethered scars need subcision and then temporary fillers to stop them retethering - should be done by a cosmetic physician
