I've become paranoid with the type of light I'm in

Ok well basically I still have acne like 4 or 5 pimples but its not wut bothers me cuz it really doesnt look so bad. Wut really bothers me is all these terrible red marks and hyperpigmentation that Ive been left with from my severe acne. But ive noticed that In some light you cant even see it at all, its really weird when I look at my skin in under natural sunlight its not visible, even in even in direct sunlight its barely visible. but my bathroom light(i think its flourescent) they make my face look like shit. But then under those really big bright lights, like the ones they have at a baseball field at night, my redmarks are almost invisible, even though my acne is very noticeable. So I'm basically I'm looking to get a job but i dont want one where my face is gonna look like shit.

i'm also always trying to study all the places around where i live to see wut my face looks like under them...

Just wondering doesnt anybody else notice this with lights and redmarks or become paranoid like me?

I had the same sort of thing at school. The subjects i liked were solely dependent on there being good lighting lol

Ya same here. I would check my face in the morning in my bathroom mirror and it looked great. Then I would go to school and look in the school bathroom mirror and my face would look like complete shit. Then I started wearing a hat that way the light dont hit your face as much.

Yeah, my downstairs bathroom makes my face look a lot better than my upstairs bathroom. Can't wait to go back to school with the flourescent lighting!

Yep.

I stay away from places with flourescents lights. At work we have an office where we dump the garbage and they have the nastiest lighting. I make it a point to leave the place right away if someone comes in while i'm still there.

I also agree that sunlight is not as bad as some artificial lights.

Lighting is always on my mind.

Wal-Mart makes my skin look like shit. Wait, it already does look like shit.. But when I go into Wal-Mart, it looks like I didn't even put much effort into trying to conceal the problem.

All that stark, bright, ugly fluorescent lighting.. ewww.

i hate sunlight especially at sunset because that light makes me look horrible even if my acne is controlled because of my scarring. Some bathroom lighting where the flourescent light is right above the mirror and shoots the light right into your face shows every pore, scar, redness, pimple, etc, i really hate that light.

Yeah, Walmart... I though about applying there when I was younger and then I saw my reflection while walking past the makeup section (or whatever it is) and I thought to myself "Fuck that!" :P

Anyways natural sunlight is the absolute worse for me. Every mark, scar, pimple is visible and often magnified in gruesome detail...at least to my eyes. I try to do all my outdoor activities when the sun sets though it's rather impossible most of the time.

Ugh, I hear ya! Sunlight is the WORST. My face is really uneven and bumpy and in some lights you can't even tell, but in sunlight you can see EVERY FLAW on my face. Aarrrghghg. Even if I am in a room and sunlight shines through the windows, it makes me look like shit. Stupid sun. =P

I usually like bathroom lighting IF sunlight doesn't shine through the windows. When I go to the casino (not a huge gambler, just for fun sometimes) there aren't any windows in the bathroom, just this dim light...and it makes me look HOT! I wish all lighting was like that casino bathroom light!

Ya for sure. The only one I dont care who sees me in any light is my gf but I know she dont care. Other then that I watch very carefully what light I go into.

Waiting for winter in the Prairies is like waiting for the Apocalypse and I would know as I lived in northern Alberta for 4 years. Then again, it gives you an awesome excuse for not going outside. :D

I kind of like the way I look in natural light. I don't know why, but I think it looks better. Sunlight too.

But flourescent lighting? FORGET IT! :hand:
