Anyone ever had treatment with a Hyfrecator?

Recommended Posts

For those of you who don't know, a hyfrecator is a device that uses electrical current to basically burn away skin defects such as moles and warts. It can also be used for small skin imperfections which is what I had the treatment for. I had a lot of small raised bumps on my forehead that wouldn't go away as well as a bunch of small white circular patches on my cheeks that I can't remember the name of now (not milia, but they look almost like milia).

I am now covered with a bunch of little spots and I realized that they look exactly the same as if they were treated using the TCA Cross method which got me to wondering if this could also be used for scarring. I'm going to ask my derm when I go back in a few weeks but thought I would bring it up here to see if anyone had any opinions on it.
