i am on accutaine since mid may, so basically for 10 weeks so far - 60 m's a day. I got supply left for 3 more weeks, after that the doctor said I will be done. FIrst he was going to prescribe me 6 more weeks , and yesterday he changed his mind - which sux, so 13 weeks its all Im goin to be on it for, unless I get to change his mind and let me get on for 6 extra weeks which would make it 19 weeks , which will be much better.

My question is, if I wont be able to convince him to give me more accutaine - wht should I do, becaue I dont think that 13 weeks which is 3 mnths is long enough of a crourse. SHould or can I go to another derm who will let me continue the treatment right away, or its not possible? Im also in North NJ, so if anyone can sugest a derm that can help me continue my crouse with them perhaps?

thank u all

I'm not so sure of how your health care system works (in the US) can't recommend you a derm, but you mentioned you could switch, I suggest you do it. It is likely anyways that this new derm will supply you with it, if it's only for a few weeks.

good luck.

this may not be wat u wanna hear but if he's shortened ur course thats probably good cos it means that ur skin has had the wanted affect faster than first thought. basicly he's probably done it so that u dont hav to go thru unecessary extra treatment.

no trsut me, its nto perfect, i broke out just last week, but it healed, the main reason is because he would allwasy complain how much pain in the ass it is to prescribe it ( resiterin it online, 30 day window, blood tests, and how little it pays with all the headache) so I just want to contunie my treatment somwhere else for 2 more mnths, i hope its possible to do that
