Are pimples considered open lesions? Because I'm trying this scar cream and it says "WARNING: NOT FOR USE ON OPEN LESIONS" and I was wondering if it was safe to put them on pimples or tiny little bumps or if i should go around them?

Also, one more question.. this might be a dumb question, but i"ve always wondered.. can pimples pop up OVER ice pick scars?

They're open lesions if you pop them. Otherwise, they wouldn't be.

Ok, so if there's a white head.. and the whitehead falls off, it's still not an open lesion? Thanks.

I guess if you see blood coming out or it appears fresh, it could be considered an open lesion.

If scar cream isn't for pimples, i wouldn't use it for pimples, trust me.

Well, I'm not really using it for pimples. I'm using it for hyperpigmentation and some scars that I do have. But I just wanted to know if it was a big deal if I accidently got some on one or whatever. Because I get these little tiny bumps. They're not really pimples they're really small, I don't know what they are..and I wanted to know if I had to avoid all of them while rubbing the cream on.

Use Neosporin. It's what you should apply after popping out a pimple. It'll make the pimple heal faster and the color will lessen. I do this and it works!

open skin is a lesion. a pimple is not. I had tons of scars in my back from fulminans but i used some fucidin. it helped heal fast
