washing face near hair line?

i have lil bump and breakouts near my hairline because my barbar shaves that area , is it ok to use my face wash around my hair line ( purpose gentle liquid cleanser ) , can it cause any damage to my hair line like receding hair line or something.

and after the hair cut do i benefit more from a aftershave lotion or aftershave liquid on my hair line?

Face wash will not harm your hair line. With every face wash I've used, I've used it right up to my hair line with no problems.

Actually, you probably WANT to wash at your hairline. If I forget to I always break out there. I wouldn't put aftershave on it though.

I don't think it should be much of a problem. Don't think SA bleaches or contains anything that can damage hair to large extents. If you're breaking out along your hairline, you should definitely wash that area.
