Glycolic Facial Peels

Hi, I'm not so much worried about acne because I only have mild blackheads at the bottom of my face near my ears, I am more worried about the fine lines as I am only 38. I did my first peel today with 30% glycolic solution and followed the directions to a T. (2 minutes for the glycol, followed by the buffer X2, then rince and apply aloe.)

I only felt the slightest burning at my nasal folds but did get quite a shock when I applied the baking soda buffer under my eyes. after the final rinse I saw absolutely no change in my skin at all. My face was a little flushed but that's about it.

Is this the normal first experience or am I needing something a little stronger?
