Moisturizers and Makeup

I have a couple of questions:

1) Can I use a tinted moisturizer on the regimen? And if so, do I apply it as the third step, or after the third step (as I would with foundation)?

2) Can I use a foundation primer on the regimen? And if so, same question as above.

....and just as a side note, does anyone know why oil-free moisturizers cost significantly more than moisturizers with oil?....just wondering...

As long as the moisturizer is non-comedogenic and preferably oil-free, it's fine to use with the regimen. I would apply it as the third step, after the benzoyl peroxide, and not worry about having two layers of moisturizer on.

I'm not sure about question two, but oil-free moisturizers cost more because they're more difficult to make. Oil is obviously the easiest and therefore cheapest way to moisturizer skin, so oil-free ones have to find alternative ingredients to get the same job done, which brings up the price. The same goes for SPF.

you can use a tinted moisturizer, I don't see a problem with that. Just be sure it is oil-free and non-comedogenic. Use it instead of a regular moisturizer if you want to and if it is hydrating enough to keep your skin balanced.
