Questions/Help hard bumb

Recommended Posts

Hi! My question is that once in a while my face will break out with hard places. Not a large area either. Right now I have a hard place on the side of my nose and I have tried things like Neutrogeana Advance Solution spot treatment which reduced size a little bit, but given the tender/sensative place (near the eye) it has caused a big red discoloration and dried my skin, which I then peeled of because as if the raised bump was not bad enough hanging skin was not helping  Now I have on Aveeno ultra calming lotion to make the redness go away. Anyway my face does not break out bad with pimples, but these hard places and they are in stupid places like my nose, between/in my eyebrows, hairline, chin and upper lip. I work w/ the public so this is very embarrassing! Again not a lot but just enough to ruin my day/week(s)! I used proactive for a year but it was too strong since my face did not really break out a lot and it casued irretation. The Refining Mask they sell did help to reduce swelling, redness and clear my skin. But I do not want to subscribe again to just get this mask :snooty: Do you guys know anything else over the counter/home treatments that could help or prevent this? I'm 23yr. M and diabetic(type 1). So I'm not sure what to do? Sorry for the long post but the hard bumps and discoloration they leave behind is upsetting!

Sounds like it could be a cyst, although I could very well be wrong about that. A baking soda scrub has helped some people bring down the size and reduce irratation of cysts.
