sauna's ?

Is sauna's bad for the skin ? I usually sit in one 20 mins every night after i workout but i'm starting to think its really making my skin look worse ? anyone know anything about this?

its debatable. really depends on the individual.

Saunas clear out pores (best also to have a cool/cold shower after to close up the pores), but in some people saunas aggrivate sebaceous glands thus skin condition/pore size/acne.

If you love saunas i suggest you stay away for a week or two then go in for ten minutes then guage how your skin reacts after a couple of days. Building up to gen no more than 30 mins 3 times per week.

20 mins every night is way too much time in a sauna. The usual recommended amount is 30mins, 3 times per week, and if you decide to use it more its adviced you speak to your GP or health practitioner.

So yeh..basically..stay away for a bit then test the water so to speak and keep an eye on how your skin reacts.
