I have a question about witch hazel!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

witch hazel is just a natural astringent. i used them together but i could only tolerate it mid day so it wasnt too close to the differin application. if i used it before applying differin at night or after removing it in the morning my face got red. Most is mixed with alchohol though to preserve it which may irritate your skin. so, you could try it carefully on a small secction of your face, or buy pure alcohol free witch hazel from the internet. (always meant to try this)good luck.

i would avoid it while on accutane, it will further dry you out, you do not need an astringent now anyways!

What does accutane have to do with it?

If your skin is dry or sensitive I'd avoid it. Like fruity already said most stuff you get is mixed with alcohol although it's usually about 14%. If your worried about the alcohol then there are many other toners out there that are alcohol free.
