I highly doubt that. He hasnt hit puberty yet.

The thing is, hes on the side of the family who is destined to get acne :(

But I never got acne at his age nor have I heard kids could.

Yes, young children get acne too or at least they can develop pimples

It's true that acne is triggered by hormonal reaction but in teens those hormones are just released in greater quantities, it doesn't mean that young children don't have them. Testosterone doesn't just appear in teen years it just increases a lot in teen years, while his insulin and growth hormone levels may be very high anyway

Remember also that is known today that puberty is not the beginning of reproductive function development, it is the ending point at which those characteristics developing for years just become visible, hormonal maturation begins very early, just after the baby phase with the development of nervous connections to the prostate

Yeh hes a very big kid.

Hes not obese, but hes definately a large one.

Large bones are usually due to large release of growth hormones, so it makes sense

Also it's more common for young kids into sport to develop mild acne than sedentary ones

Most babies are born with little yellowish looking dots on their nose. They look like blackheads, except they're whitish yellow. You can barely see them though, and they go away after a while.

I don't think it's acne...it's most likely something else.

If it is true, this is gonna be depressed by age 8!!

It's acne because is an acute bacteria infection of few pores of the skin

It's not the acne we know so well because it's not a chronic bacteria infection in most zones of the faces,

that would require few years more

my sisters six month old son has a few tiny lumps which i would assume are clogged pores, even kids must be able to get acne as they still produce sebum. They would't get severe or anything at that age but surely can get little tiny clogged pores and stuff

a few of my nephews have had spots, just random ones but quite large and inflamed. theyre both very big, tall but not "large" as you've euphemised. nothing to worry about, im sure you'll be well able to help them with what you've learned on here :D

Yeah, most babies are born with that stuff.
