In America, acne is god's way of making teenagers realize that life is miserable ... so they might as well enjoy it anyway

"People are praying to the God of acne to make sure they don't break out before the next big date or business presentation that they have,

I thank God that after struggling emotionally, spiritually, and physically with severe cystic acne, God has finally led me to complete healing through laser treatments, which are making even my scars disappear. My inner scars continue to heal. My love for my online volunteer work with acne sufferers of all ages, from all over the world, keeps me working many hours a week sharing my story and educating others about this very serious inflammatory skin disease, which affects all aspects of a person's life: emotional, spiritual and physical.

The Bible can serve as an inspiration when dealing with a teenager that is struggling with acne. God cares about every detail of our lives, and He wants us to bring all of our troubles to His throne. Praying for a teen's social life, spiritual protection, and health are all part of a parent's responsibility. Praying about how to get rid of acne is also certainly permissible for the Lord understands the results of social trauma. After prayer, He may lead the intuitive parent to resources that can be helpful. "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Should we not attempt to awaken the inner forces to God's presence? "For, all healing comes from the one source. And whether there is the application of foods, exercise, medicine, or even the knife, it is to bring the consciousness of the forces within the body that aid in reproducing themselves-the awareness of creative or God forces." (2696-1)

Acne is God's punishment for being a bratty teenager.

someone's arthritis or chronic acne was God's punishment.

solitary sexual indulgence will cause blindness, acne, or sweaty palms

This condemnation also includes a sentence to eternal torment and punishment in hell, and for what? For

disobedience? For eating a piece of fruit?

To add spice to this sorry tale, He invents tares, throws in all the disease from acne, cancer and leprosy to syphilis and everything in between. Hurricanes, tornadoes and untold miseries are added to the mix.

In our days God punishes the meat eaters "only" by hypertension, heart attack, stroke, embolism, obesity, rheumatism, gout, aggressivity - and e.g. by acne, pimples and an ugly appearance

God, being supposedly omnibenevolent, could have no conceivable use for things such as pimples, which caused so much suffering. Ergo, He could not exist. Having banished the divine, I felt briefly omnipotent myself.

God has nothing to do with acne. Unless it's a big F YOU to all of us that have it.

Actually, God has nothing to do with anything.

Be a good person.

Why does everyone blame their problems on god...

What else is he good for?

Once you die, you will see :P

Look at this guy ---> http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/

He doesn't have acne but he has more challenges than us. His situation is tough and he also went to depression (who doesn't) but instead of blaming God he's using his testimony to reach out to others. I just basically want to share this because it touched me. You may or may not believe in God but I don't think He's the one to be blamed for just because we're going through something like acne, or any disabilities and diseases. This is a sick world we're living in and nothing here is perfect.

Perhaps "God" isn't meant to control us or have anything to do with us on Earth because we're suppose to live and learn for ourselves. I'm suprised people never thought of that if "God" exists.

Sounds like a nice medium ground between atheism and agnosticism to me. ;)

"There is a god, but he minds his own business."

That's called Deism.

god has no effect on the world whatsover

Do you watch the news?

Lol pretty weak reply

There is no way for a person to convince others that god has some major effect on the planet.

And god has no control over us... he gave us free will. Everything that is happening is because of us, no one else.

According to the bible, the only person god controled was the pharoh of Egypt. He hardened his heart and didnt let the Israelites leave.

Its the only case I can think of.

For the record, im agnostic.

I beg to differ.

The massacres of Indian independence Had Hindus and Muslims killing each other. The crusades had Muslims and Christians killing each other. The Teutonic Knights were waging war against pagans and even their own. The siege and massacre at Jerusalem had Christians killing Jews and Muslims. The religious wars in France in the 18th century had Christians and Protestants killing each other. The Salem witch trials. The forced conversion of the Saxons by the Christians. In Sri Lanka Hindus are killing buddhists.

I can go on. Hell, George W. Bush's religious beliefs are shaping the U.S foreign policy!

'God' affects alot, if not everything in this world.

And for the record, so am I.

 Yes, the belief in God (not the actual existence of some greater force) has certainly caused a lot of wars over the years.

religion causes war. without religion, the world would be a much more peaceful place to live in :D ; there would still be war but far far less of it.

So if there really is a God or other being controlling the flow of destiny, he's evil (so if God exists, he causes acne to annoy people, good thing i dont believe in God then i guess ;))
